No compulsion of religion in Islam.

In this interaction, the Muslim speaker says that in Islam religion is not forced. Can Muslims deny that it is a standing law in Islam that a Muslim can only marry another Muslim and therefore if one of the partners happens to be a non-Muslim, he or she has to covert to Islam before a Muslim marriage can be solemnized? Therefore where is the question of religion not being forced in Islam? Can my Muslim brothers answer this question?
